The Life and Times of the Continental Soldier In-Person
Join us as Colonel John Dwyer reenacts the Life of the Continental Solider. John portrays a soldier serving in the Continental Army which was camped in New Jersey in the Winter of 1780. Featuring the uniform, weapons, tools, and gear carried, he tells stories about their life, pay, food, and clothing. John will also show what he is carrying and explains his gear, weapons, and belongings in detail as he passes it around the audience to handle. Questions are welcomed at any time during the presentation. It is appropriate for middle school age children through adults.
